DetailsPair Edwardian Sterling Silver (lion passant) and blown glass dimpled decanters assayed in Birmingham (anchor mark) in 1909, made by Charles May (makers mark). The glass has a starburst pattern on the bottom. Please note scratching, tarnish, wear commensurate with the age. The jug features a sterling silver collar/mount. The faceted glass stopper is topped with a sterling heptagonal finial, flat top is marked with unicorn family heraldic crest indicating commissioned or perhaps to be presented as a gift. The stoppers are 3.25" in length. Each 2" hanging medallion, one marked Port and the other Sherry has "Made in England" on the back. The silver stoppers and collar mounts show dents and wear. Decanter height: 9.5" x 4.5" at the widest part.
